HOLY ORDERS

Picture

This sacrament is conferred
on men who, after years of theological studies
and pastoral experience, are ordained to preside
at liturgical and sacramental functions
and to be multi-faceted shepherds
to God’s people.

On behalf of Father Mark Morley, Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Hamilton, we would like to welcome all those who are discerning a vocation as a baptized member of the Catholic Church. Whether you are discerning a vocation to marriage, priesthood, permanent diaconate, consecrated virginity lived in the world, or consecrated life as a religious priest, brother or sister, the Vocations Office is here to support you. Our Young Adults Night held on the First Saturday of the month at various parishes throughout the Diocese is an opportunity to pray for vocations during a Holy Hour, meet others who are discerning God’s will for them, hear inspiring vocation testimonies, and join our vocations music ministry in praising God for our baptismal call to holiness through discipleship.
