THE PILGRIM ICON

Msgr. Paul J. Meyer Knights of Columbus, Council 4916 will be sponsoring a Pilgrim Icon in honour of St. Joseph at St. Clement Church from Thursday, January 13, 2022 until Monday, January 17, 2022. All members of the community are encouraged to join Knights of Columbus Council 4916 at these times to pray for the intercession of St. Joseph in raising, guarding and preparing future generations.

The St. Joseph icon is the latest icon to be part of the Knights of Columbus Icon Program, which every few years selects an icon of a saint whose patronage is particularly inspiring to Knights and their communities.

Over the next two years the icons will travel from Council to Council to each of the Knights of Columbus 77 jurisdictions, around the world serving as a focal point for prayer and devotion in thousands of parishes.

St. Joseph, the protector of the Holy Family of Nazareth, is an admirable model of those manly virtues of quiet strength, integrity and fidelity which the Knights of Columbus are committed to preserving, cultivating and passing on to future generations of Catholic men.
